Pilot process for creating staff offer letters:
There is an immediate need to communicate Supplemental Retirement Program information to new hires for benefit eligible positions and to individuals who transfer from temporary to regular employment at MU. It has been determined that the best way to accomplish this is through formal offer letters.
Therefore, beginning on Monday, March 2, 2015, HRS will begin piloting a process to generate offer letters for all staff, benefit-eligible openings posted through eRecruit. The letters will be created in conjunction with the offer approval process.

Since offer letters are already the standard for academic job offers, the new retirement information has been added to the academic templates maintained by Human Resource Services and the Postdoctoral Fellow templates maintained by the Office of Graduate Studies.
