BPPM 6:080 – Use of University Vehicles has been updated to promote safer vehicle operation and to clarify existing provisions. This policy applies to employees who operate vehicles on official University business and their supervisors. Employees who drive on official University business are responsible for having a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle operated. If their license is ever suspended or revoked, they are required to notify their supervisor. Supervisors of employees who drive on official University business must take reasonable steps to ensure that those employees have a valid driver’s license.
