New I-9 form takes effect this week

Unless there is a last-minute change, employers will be required to use a revised version of the employment eligibility form known as the I-9 form effective April 3, 2009. The new I-9 form will be replaced in the forms section of this site as well as on the UM System Web page. Anyone who wants a preview can go to http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-9_IFR_02-02-09.pdf to find the new form along with the instructions for completion.
