Want a quick and easy way to fill that administrative support position? Try temp-to-hire, a program designed as a convenient way for departments to hire benefit-eligible employees without going through the traditional requirements of posting. These hires work as temps while you assess their compatibility with your job needs.
Placements
- Complete an SOS Job Order form or call 573-882-7701.
- At your convenience, SOS will schedule interviews with qualified temps seeking benefit-eligible positions.
- Once you have made your selection, notify SOS of your choice and provide the desired start date for the assessment period.
Transfer to Benefit Eligible
After you have had sufficient opportunity to ensure the temp possesses the necessary skills and will be a good match, you may hire the temp into a benefit-eligible position without posting on the Job Opportunities List.
- Contact SOS to request a transfer (a two-week notice is required).
- Contact HRS to confirm start date and discuss salary.
