SOS Temporary Staffing is committed to providing individual solutions for your staffing needs.

After receiving your request, a placement specialist will contact you to better understand your needs, timeline , desired level of involvement, and budget.  Next, we will search for the most qualified candidate(s) to fit your needs.  SOS handles all the recruitment effort including application screening for your preferred qualifications, reference checks, background checks, and skills testing, at no additional charge.
The selected temp will be paid through SOS Temporary Staffing based on the time approved by your department in our TEMPS System.

Temp to Hire

Our temp-to-hire program is designed to be a convenient way for departments to hire benefit-eligible employees without going through the traditional requirements of posting.  This arrangement provides an employee as soon as someone is needed while also providing additional time for you to assess their compatibility with your needs.  When you have found the right fit, your placement coordinator will assist you with the transfer process (a two week notice is required).  All SOS candidates are also subject to the transfer CBC process.

Billing

SOS processes billing on a biweekly basis using the MOCode you provided.  The e-billed amount includes the standard hourly rate, appropriate taxes and fees, and service charge.   The charges will appear in PeopleSoft under account 7080000 unless otherwise requested.

Rates

Temps earn an hourly rate based on duties, skills, and experience.  Your placement coordinator will work with you to determine an appropriate rate for your specific request.
