Direct deposit

The university requires employees to directly deposit payroll funds to a bank or other financial institution specified by the employee. Funds will be available to employees on the regular payday. If you have questions regarding this policy, please contact your department, division fiscal officer or Human Resource Services.

These local financial institutions offer free checking and some of them will allow the employee to establish a savings account even if they have had past financial difficulties such as bankruptcy or problems with ChexSystems.
